Dakota Stroud moved to Shenandoah County in October 2021 to follow his dream, which was to be an Agricultural Education teacher. He devotes his time teaching hands-on life-skills to sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students in public schools. He understands how hard it is to be in a profession that specializes in serving others.

With rising rent prices and an inflated housing market, Dakota made the courageous decision to purchase his first property at just 22 years old in October of 2021. This bold choice was when Dakota began renting to other young professionals. He understood the need of affordable housing after renting for the past four years of his life.

Since then, D.R. Stroud Landholdings, LLC has become an organization that carefully curates furnished and unfurnished rental properties that meet the needs of a variety of clientele.
